Controls

Steer with one hand. Drive with the other.

Drive pad · Slide between actions without lifting your thumb.
LOCK extends DRIFT, SHIFT extends GAS, and REVERSE extends BRAKE. Layout mirrors for left-handed controls.

Drive pad

Keep a thumb on the pad and slide between GAS, DRIFT, BOOST and BRAKE. From DRIFT, slide outward into LOCK. From BRAKE, slide outward into REVERSE. Once unlocked, slide outward from GAS into SHIFT.

Steer

Rotate the device like a wheel, or select On-screen steering in SETTINGS and drag the steering control. RECALIBRATE sets a new resting angle. Left-handed controls swap the driving sides.

Keyboard

Arrow keys or A/D steer; Up or W gives GAS; Down, S or Space gives BRAKE; Q holds DRIFT; E holds BOOST; R resets the car. Use ordinary keyboard navigation for menu controls.

Pause and recover

PAUSE gives you time to stop. RESTART LAP starts the lap again; during a tutorial it also restarts that tutorial. If you are stuck, brake, reverse into space, then rejoin.
