Start with the ribbon

Use stereo headphones for the clearest directions. Steer toward the warm guiding hum. It softens and moves toward the centre as the trajectory becomes safer. Small corrections work better than chasing every change.

Listen ahead

Pace notes sweep toward the ear on the bend’s side and finish before the bend begins. Higher pitch means tighter; a shorter swipe means a shorter bend. Linked swipes describe linked bends in the order you will meet them.

Separate guidance from status

Centred engine and BOOST describe power. Tyre sound widens as the car slides. Gravel means off-road; follow the recovery hum to rejoin. A nearby-rival cue identifies its side. A low double falling tone warns of wrong way, followed by the direction to turn.

Play without sight

A screen reader presents menus, controls, position and results; DRIVE BY EAR supplies steering information. Start with its five-part tutorial in the TRACTOR. Bring Sound balance toward DRIVE BY EAR and use Blank screen when ready.
