What it does
DRIFT ATTACK scores controlled slides on ordinary laps while lap timing continues.
How to do it
Build a slide with speed and angle, then exit cleanly to BANK it. Link slides to grow COMBO.
Why use it
It gives each track a second kind of record to chase.
Timing
The large active score is at risk until banked. A failed slide loses that slide, but keeps points already banked.
Advanced
LAP is the current total, LAST the previous lap, and BEST the track record. A bigger angle is only useful if you can finish the slide.
