Build ideas
Seven perk combinations that work, and why.
Supercar: Ride the FLOW
Both perks pay out for the same thing: keeping FLOW up. Above ×2, LOCKED IN adds a tier of CONTROL, ACCELERATION and DRIFT; from ×3, FLOW SHIFT turns every SHIFT into a pure gain. Drive cleanly and the Supercar keeps getting faster. Lose the FLOW and both fall away together.
Future Racer: Clean laps, bigger everything
OVERDRIVE raises the speed cap the longer you stay fast and clean; FULL TANK grows the short tank to 5/5 and fills it on the same clean driving. One collision resets OVERDRIVE, so every reward here goes to precision.
Rally Racer: Short, loud bursts
TWITCHY TURNY refills the tank in every slide; TURBO spends it twice as hard. Drift into the corner, burst out of it, repeat. The small tank is never empty for long.
Race Car: Grip over glide
This build drives through the brakes and the tyres rather than through DRIFT and BOOST. Brake hard at speed and RESPONSE TIME answers with an acceleration kick; in OVERCHARGE, APEX GRIP lifts CONTROL and ACCELERATION past their usual limits.
Vintage Racer: Never stop sliding
DRIFTAGE holds speed and angle in DRIFT; CARRY ON does the same for LOCK. Link slide into slide through HARBOR’s switchbacks without the usual speed penalty. The challenge is banking each slide before the next wall.
Sports Car: Earn every drop
DRIFT DEMON builds DRIFT through a sustained slide. PRECISION only recharges BOOST from DRIFT that scores DRIFT ATTACK points, and makes spent OVERCHARGE last five times as long. Score the slide and the tank pays you back.
SUV: Built for the straights
FULL TANK grows the tank to 5/5 and keeps it full; ROAD RAGE turns a full tank of BOOST into OVERCHARGE while you drive cleanly. Hold off BOOST through the twisty parts, then spend a huge OVERCHARGE on the long straights.
